On January 11, 2006, I was given a unique opportunity to present a full performance in the presence of Sw. Niranjanananda Saraswathi and an entire ashram of guests. I would call this the most memorable performance in my career - for that day I truly experienced the spiritual nature of dance and what it is to surrender your art to God. - Ramaa

On April 20 & 21, 2007 Her Holiness Shinso Ito, conducted a spectacular Saito Homa (fire purification)ceremony for Global Peace at the Shinnyo-en Buddhist temple grounds in Yorba Linda. Open for the first time to the public, it attracted over 3000 people from all over the world and was telecast throughout Japan. Twelve world dance performers were invited to create a commissioned performance that carried the message of Unity through celebrating our uniqueness. This production, accompanied by a 50 piece symphony orchestra and 20 taiko drums, ended with a perfectly timed release of 108 doves into the skies.
